Christmas nails the time of year we can go all out with Glitter and Sparkle! We have picked some of our favourite high street nail colours with some fabulous designs from around the globe to help inspire you for your next visit to the nail salon. We have also added some helpful hints for the perfect manicure. You can’t beat Barry M for their festive glitters, we love them! Christmas-nails2 Tip – Glitter nail polish is a nightmare to get off as we all know, we suggest you soak a cotton wool pad in some nail varnish remover, place firmly on the nail, rap the end of each individual finger with tin foil and then leave for 5 minutes prior to removing. This will help the polish soak off with ease. One hand at a time though. The cute Christmas designs are always fun. Have you ever thought about matching your Christmas jumper to your nails? Any good nail artist would be more than happy to take inspiration from images, so don’t hesitate to ask for a slightly different version. Or be brave and try it yourself, there are some great nail art kits out there. Christmas-nails3 Top Tip- If you’re creating your own nail art, keep the sides neat by sticking sellotape around the side of your nails, on the skin and along your cuticle, wait for the nail varnish to dry then pull off the sellotape. This way, if you do go over the lines, no nail varnish will be on your skin.
