Honey Lemon Sugar Scrub
For one of our absolute favs you’ll need:
1 cup of sugar
¼ cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons raw honey
2 teaspoon dried rosemary
15 drops of lemon essential oil
15 drops of lavender essential oil
Simply mix the sugar, dried rosemary, olive oil and honey together, then add the deliciously fragrant essential oils and stir it all up. Scrub on your face in a circular motion, rinse and wash as normal. Gorgeous! And the best part is you can store it for around 3 months.
A Little Honey Magic
Honey is one of the most natural ingredients you could find. Pooh Bear loved it and so do we. Besides providing a lovely moisture boost to your skin, raw honey is claimed to be anti-bacterial and anti-viral, helping to kill infections like acne, whilst reducing inflammation. Yes girls, honey is your friend.
Cleansing Oatmeal Facial Scrub
For this wonderfully soothing scrub you’ll need:
1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal
¼ teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of water or olive oil
So easy, just mix the oatmeal and salt, then add the water or olive oil to make a paste. Job done. Apply it in circular motions, leave it for a few minutes then rinse it off.
Oatmeal: Gentle and Super Sensitive
Oatmeal is incredible at absorbing impurities on the skin, but it’s also great for nourishing and hydrating too. It’s even been said that this lovely soothing ingredient is ideal for sunburn, acne and dry, flaky skin. Making it a brilliant choice if you have sensitive skin.
Ginger, Coconut, Oil and Sugar!
For this rejuvenating, aromatic body scrub you’ll need:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, roughly chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup organic sugar cane
1/2 cup salt
Just heat the coconut oil and ginger in a pan until it smells gorgeous. Usually around 5 to 10 minutes. Strain it and while it’s warm, mix in the olive oil. Let it cool then stir in the sugar and salt. If you want to add essential oils pop in a few drops now. Great for moisturising those legs you’ve been hiding all winter!
