Has Jennifer Lawrence had Cosmetic Surgery?

Jennifer Lawrence captured our hearts from the moment The Hunger Games hit our screens in 2012, and since then we’ve been questioning her ever-so-slightly-changing looks. Is she a natural beauty or has she decided to opt for cosmetic surgery to enhance her already perfect appearance? Here at MYA, there would be no complaints if we looked like the beautiful actress - surgery or no surgery.

Jennifer’s nose appears more linear and narrow today than it did in 2012, leading fans to believe she has undergone rhinoplasty (a nose job). Soon after the speculation started, she confirmed that she did in fact have a nose job, shortly after being named one of The Most Beautiful People in the World by People Magazine in 2011.

What Jennifer Lawrence Says

The actress claims her reason for having the procedure was to correct her deviated septum – the partition between the two nasal cavities. However, many people believe that Jennifer actually had a full cosmetic procedure as the overall profile of her nose appears to have been altered.

There has also been some speculation over Jennifer’s lips. Recently they’ve looked plumper, leaving people questioning whether she’s had lip fillers to increase the volume and fullness of her lips. Although the change is subtle, it alters the overall look of her lovely face.

What Jennifer Lawrence Says

The star hasn’t admitted to having fillers but she’s left us wondering whether she’s had tweaks, or whether she simply uses a very, very good plumping lip gloss – one that we’d like to have in our handbags at all times!

Looking back at photos of a younger, fresh-faced Jennifer Lawrence, her eyes now look much wider, leading us to believe that she may have undergone eyelid surgery to open up the eye area. Her beautiful eyes are now much more visible, enhancing her appearance.

What Jennifer Lawrence Says

We know that Jennifer has admitted to having a nose job, but she’s kept her perfectly-plump lips firmly shut about any other cosmetic surgery procedures.

The Verdict

With only Jennifer’s rhinoplasty procedure confirmed, we’re left questioning her rumoured eye and lip fillers. We do know, however, that perfectly applied makeup can alter facial features dramatically, so the star may just have a talented makeup artist to enhance her already perfect face. If only we all had our own personal makeup artists on speed dial.
