Why did you decide to have a rhinoplasty procedure?

I wanted my surgery from when I was about 11, my hormones had started and I noticed a slight bump on my nose and spent years after that trying to push it down in fear it would turn into a big hump.. which it did!

Why do you feel it’s important for people to talk openly about their cosmetic surgery procedure?

I think it’s important to talk about cosmetic surgery to get the stigma away from it, everyone can do it and it’s nothing to be embarrassed about!

What top tips would you give to someone looking into having a Rhinoplasty?

Do your research, look at different surgeons work and don’t use other people’s noses as an “ideal” nose reference as that’s not realistic. Your face is unique and your surgeon will do what fits your face best!

Why did you choose MYA? 

My friend had her breasts done with MYA in 2019 and I did my own research on the facial surgeons within MYA.

How was your surgeon consultation?

My consultation with my surgeon, Mr Giannas, was super informative and I felt very comfortable and I was confident he could give me a nose I would love.

How was your rhinoplasty recovery?

My recovery was absolutely fine, I surprisingly had no pain through the whole 10 days after my surgery and the worst part was the stitch removal!

What do you feel is different now following your procedure?

Since my surgery I’m more confident talking to people, I’m walking with my head high and I am so much happier with myself!

What would you say to someone that is worried about the scar? 

My rhinoplasty scar is hardly noticeable at all, you wouldn’t notice it if you didn’t know it was there.

What advice would you give someone looking into having a rhinoplasty procedure?

My advise to anyone looking into rhinoplasty is that you won’t regret it! It’s very daunting at the start but so worth it at the end!

Would you recommend MYA?

I would 1000% recommend MYA.
