June 29th, 2026 |MYA Manchester Team Gets Muddy for a Great CauseLast Saturday, members of the MYA Manchester team swapped the clinic for the obstacle course as they took part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life Pretty Muddy event, raising an incredible £1,400 (plus £308.75 in Gift Aid) for life-saving cancer research. Race for Life’s Pretty Muddy events combine a 5K course with fun obstacles, all while raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
The team embraced every muddy challenge with plenty of determination, teamwork and laughter, climbing walls, tackling obstacles and crossing the finish line together. It was a fantastic day filled with community spirit and a shared commitment to supporting an important cause that touches so many lives.
Everyone at MYA is incredibly proud of the team for taking on the challenge and making such a positive impact. A huge thank you goes to everyone who donated and supported the MYA Girls along the way- every contribution helps Cancer Research UK continue its vital work.
