My Story

I have always had a larger chest which has restricted me throughout my life.  I then lost a major amount of weight, along with a few other life incidents which meant I was left with empty, saggy boobs. This knocked my confidence every single day, I couldn’t train correctly at the gym as they were in the way. My confidence was at all time low and I needed to change now. 

 My consultation day was super exciting. It gave me a sneak peak into my new future and a chance for me to ask my surgeon everything I had been googling!

I decided to go ahead with surgery at MYA because I’ve had so many friends over the last 15 years that still have AMAZING results and it’s a company I trusted  and knew I was in safe hands.

I had a breast reduction and uplift with implants, and the difference in my before and afters is unbelievable. It’s a whole new confidence you can’t even imagine! I can wear WHATEVER I want and not have to think about squashing my boobs into a bra or not wearing backless outfits because I couldn’t wear a bra.

If I had to describe my journey in a few words it would be … life-changing, transparent and exciting!

What top tips would you give to someone looking into having cosmetic surgery?

I would say research your surgeon and go to the consultation! It’s no harm done if you don’t want to proceed but I learnt a lot from that short consult that I wouldn’t have known without going.

What would you say to someone that is worried about the scar?

Don’t over think scarring. It’s minimal and doesn’t bother you as you have a new confidence that takes over that worry. It’s a small price to pay for a new life!! (They are so thin, fading well and minimal).

Why do you think it is important for people to be honest about cosmetic surgery?

 To make sure the younger generation don’t think that they are not good enough or they don’t fit in. People should be able to know that you’ve done something to improve your own quality of life. Even if it’s surgery, you’ve enhanced your confidence and it’s great. But we shouldn’t pretend it was a natural process. Me for example, I could never have gotten these results with gym/more weight loss etc.
