Why did you want your procedure? What was the trigger/life event for you to decide now is the time?
I had thought about having the procedure for over a year before finally going ahead with it. I have a three year old and as you can probably imagine body’s do change during that time and I just wanted to make myself feel more confident! After doing my research I found that MYA was the best option for me!

Why did you choose to have your surgery in the UK?
I chose to have my procedure in the UK because it suited me and my situation better, i found that it would be safer for me to go somewhere more local to home just incase of any complications and having a child!
How was your recovery?
My recovery… my recovery wasn’t what I expected I thought I would absolutely smash through it but I was wrong! Definitely make sure you have some support around you for at least the first week, you want to make sure your healing in the best way! As I mentioned before I have a three year old so I had my mum say with me to help me with tasks I couldn’t do! But everyone’s recovery is different!
