With her flawless face and gorgeous glow, it seems like Jennifer Lopez hasn’t aged a day since she first topped the charts in the early 2000s. There’s no doubting her good genes (who wouldn’t insure that bum?) but her looks continue to defy her age. We’re all wondering, has J Lo had cosmetic surgery?

In comparison to before her “Bennifer” days over 15 years ago, Ms Lopez’s lips seem fuller and plumper in more current photos.

Back when her relationship with actor Ben Affleck was a tabloid favourite, the star’s lips appeared thinner – she’s no Kylie Jenner, with her natural pout attracting less attention, but it’s still got us speculating.

What the Experts Say

According to Dr. Bruce Katz, Director of New York’s Juva Skin and Laser Center, it’s clear to that the 46-year-old owes this fullness to cosmetic procedures. He said: “…probably Juvederm or Restalyne injected to plump the lips.” He added: “It looks natural, she doesn’t look overdone. She’s just restoring volume lost over age. She looks great. She’s gotten better with age.”

J Lo is definitely a MYA favourite – it’s all about the curves! But what about those youthful good looks? Recent snaps of the star show a softer, line-free face that could be the work of make-up, clever lighting or temporary anti-wrinkle injections.

What the Experts Say

Dr. Steven Pearlman, New York City facial plastic surgeon is certain that Jennifer has had some help. “I believe she’s had Botox because there are no lines on her forehead and there are no crow’s feet but she had it done previously”, he said.

What Jennifer Lopez Says

She managed to dodge the Hollywood gossips until a few years ago. In 2013, a Twitter row erupted after a British plastic surgeon claimed that her face shows evidence of cosmetic procedures.

 Doctor Ayham Al-Ayoubi, tweeted: "These before and after pics of @Jlo show many signs of #plasticsurgery - naturally pretty but now looks amazing."

This prompted the mother-of-two to respond: “Sorry Sir, but I have never had plastic surgery of any kind #Fact.”

JLo’s legion of fans jumped to her defence, followed by an apology from the surgeon who held his assistant responsible for the comment.

The Verdict

Some stars change dramatically over time but JLo looks just the same. He body is perfect and her face flawless. Is her plump pout the work of a good lip liner or has she taken advantage of the discrete Hollywood surgeons right on her doorstep?
