Pamper, pamper, pamper
Pampering looks different for everyone.Â
Whether itâs a trip to the gym, an everything shower or getting cosy and watching your favourite show.Â
Whatever you choose to do, some much-needed YOU time is a great way to beat the winter blues and reeelaaaax!
Prioritise sleep
Did you know you need up to an extra 2 hours of sleep each night during winter?
With the colder temperatures and shorter days, we all need these extra few hours each night to help us take on the day.Â
This wonât just make it (slightly) easier to get out of bed in the morning, but youâll also have more energy during the day to tick off your to-do list.
How are you feeling?
Staying in tune with your mental health is important all year round, but especially in the last few months of the year.Â
Keeping on track of how youâre feeling is vital to maintaining a positive mindset.Â
If youâre having a low day, listen to your body and do what makes you happy - whether thatâs a sofa day, speaking with friends or getting dressed up for a solo shopping date.Â
Make plans
Having something to look forward to is always a good thing.Â
Here are some of our go-to things to do in winter:Â
coffee-dates with friendsÂ
visiting local Christmas marketsÂ
meals with friendsÂ
planning a girlâs night inÂ
It doesnât have to be anything expensive, just a few hours in a day to break up the week.
Don't forget to exercise
We know the cold weather may put you off but itâs the perfect excuse to wear your new winter coat!
Although staying in your PJs all day is tempting, it can get you into a bit of a slump.
Try walking to your favourite cafe instead of driving, or doing a few laps around the block after work to get some fresh air.
